Photo 6 Light PaintingFor photo 6, I decided to try light painting. The demo in class was super cool so I was excited to try it on my own. I had my parents help me by posing and drawing while I used the camera. Iso: 100 Shutter speed: 15 f 4.0 In photoshop, I edited the background to isolate the subject more. I also increased the contrast and brightness. This assignment was pretty fun to do but was a bit difficult to get a method that worked well. A few of the pictures showed a lot of the foreground but after a few more tries we figured out how to shine the light to avoid this. I also got more practice with using the camera in full manual mode.

I like the concept of these pictures, but the only thing I would try is different types of lights. There's tons of cool things you could do with lights that aren't just plain. Also, be careful of the light flashing on the floor. Good pictures!

I really like this, I think the photo gives off a vibe of power, I just wish that you maybe had a more interesting pose? There are a few stray light lines here and there but that is hard to control. I like the red zipper, it adds a splash of color to the photo.
